Taikisha has been working on advancing, faster development of sound damping technology such as Inner-duct silencers and sound reducing systems for out door units of HVAC systems. These achievements are provided based on experiments and analysis with acoustic test system and original acoustic analysis software.

Overview
As Figure 1 shows, the resonant modei device reduces sound by superimposing the original sound and the interference sound. Figure 2 shows an example of the resonant-type model turned to 125Hz embedded in an elbow-type silencer, It confirms that with the resonant-type model the sound reducing capacity inceases around frequency around 125Hz.

Features
The resonant-type silencer is a sound dampening system that alters the phases of sound and then synthesizes them to utilize their property of mutually canceling each other, with a powerful effect on specific frequency bands.
